What’s been happening:

Like the lives of most people, mine has alternated between bumpy rides and smooth traveling, but now that I'm all grown up, I think I've achieved equilibrium. I earned an MFA in art at Penn State in 1978, then spent 11 years pursuing an art career before giving it up for a "real" job with the Development Office at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington. After 18 years with the Smithsonian, my husband and I retired, moved to the rolling hills of South-Central Kentucky, and joined my extended family on our farm, "Angel Acres". I have two great daughters & sons-in-law in New Hampshire and Arizona, whom we visit often, depending on the season. Besides traveling here and abroad - and futile attempts at gardening - I've picked up art again, currently painting custom images on furniture handcrafted in my brother's woodworking shop. My memories of Penn State include employment at Pattee's Reserve Reading Room, beautiful mature elm trees, international food fairs at the Kern Building, weekend campus movies, the annual student film festival, late nights at the College Diner, Lot 80 parking lot in winter, jogging on the golf course path, & family nights at the Natatorium.
